Henamon Consulting provides manuscript editing, academic coaching, and K-12 tutoring for students and professionals who need tailored, individualized support for their work to land with confidence. Whether you're preparing a manuscript for defense, revising a research paper for publication, perfecting a college essay, or helping your child build real confidence and preparedness on their academic journey, I meet you where you are and help you get where you're going.
Manuscript Editing: I guide clients through scholarship at any level, with detailed editing that sharpens structure, improves readability, and elevates impact — all while preserving your original voice. Come to me at any stage of your writing: shaping an early idea, wrestling a draft into shape, or polishing a final submission. My feedback is tailored to your goals and your document, never applied from a template.
Academic Coaching: Scholarly work can feel lonely. Through academic coaching, I provide support, accountability, and resources to make the journey enjoyable and the end result a polished work you are proud to share. I mentor clients through the college application, thesis, dissertation, or publication process, using tested strategies to motivate, clarify, and finalize your work. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt are part of the process — my role is to remind you that you've earned your place and are capable of finishing what you started.
K-12 Tutoring: I bring the same approach to tutoring that I do to academic coaching — guided, detail oriented support and resources to prepare for standardized tests, entrance exams, or school courses. I provide academic support for students to understand the content from major subject areas, see why the concepts matter, and how the learning applies to the world and their lives outside of school. Understanding built in this way, holds up for an assessment — and long after, for learning that lasts.
